With the interiors, the spatial vocabulary manifests in the form of a more localised material palette and expression, using lime-plastered walls, grey Kota stone and ethically sourced timber. A variation of textures: both in concrete surfaces, and lime-plaster is ensured through local craftsmen, whilst bespoke details such as handcrafted joinery, soft furnishings, and warm lighting temper the raw materiality, ensuring the house feels lived-in and inviting.
"The brief was to create an exposed-concrete home that felt warm, intimate, and deeply connected to nature, while preserving nine existing neem trees on the site."

The living room incorporates smooth-polished plywood cast concrete surfaces and ethically sourced teak wood elements that lend warmth to the space

The bedroom interior incorporates a localised material palette, using sage green lime washed walls, terrazzo flooring and ethically sourced timber furniture

The master bathroom, designed using marble and timber details, features an island counter with a circular skylight over it which bathes the space with diffused light through the day

The master bedroom floor carries a terrazzo detailing at the edges—a hint from the secondary bedrooms, with a four poster bed anchored over the kota flooring

“The level of curated customisation inside and out, from details in the concrete and landscape, to the smallest interior junctions bringing together a medley of materials, reflects the collaborative process involved in bringing warmth to the seemingly cold RCC architecture"
